CareersPuducherry (Pondicherry), India

Small studio.Work that actually ships.

We are a founder-led design agency in Puducherry building brand identity, packaging, product interfaces, and websites for clients across Tamil Nadu and India. Two seats are open right now — both on-site, both hands-on from week one.

01 — Why here

A studio job, not a seat-filling job.

We are deliberately small. That means less process to hide behind, and far more of your work reaching a real client, a real shelf, or a real search result.

  • Work that ships

Nothing here dies in a folder. What you build goes live, gets measured, and carries your name inside the studio.

  • Founder-led, no layers

Small team, direct access. You will not spend three weeks waiting on an approval chain to make a call.

  • Learn the whole pipeline

Brand, packaging, product UI, web, campaigns. You see how a project is scoped, priced, and delivered end to end.

  • Fixed, sane hours

Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 18:30. Crunch is a planning failure, not a culture.

02 — Open roles

Two seats open. Both start hands-on.

Everything below is the actual scope of the job — not a wish list. If you match most of it and want the rest, apply anyway and say so.

Growth & Content

SEO Specialist

1 opening
  • Full-time
  • Puducherry (Pondicherry), India
  • 1–3 years
  • Reports to Founder / Creative Lead

You own how BrandViora and our clients get found — search rankings, AI answers, and everything that turns a query into an enquiry. This is a hands-on role: you research, write briefs, ship on-page fixes, and report on what actually moved.

  • Own the search roadmap for the studio site and 3–5 client accounts
  • Work directly with the founder — no layers between you and the decision
  • Real budget for tools, and freedom to test what you believe in

What you’ll do

  1. Run keyword and SERP research for the studio and client accounts, and turn it into a prioritised content roadmap.

  2. Write content briefs the design and content team can build from — intent, structure, internal links, target queries.

  3. Ship on-page work: titles, meta descriptions, headings, schema markup, internal linking, image alt text.

  4. Audit technical health — crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, broken links, redirects — and log fixes for the dev side.

  5. Run local SEO for Puducherry and Tamil Nadu: Google Business Profile, citations, NAP consistency, review flow.

  6. Track rankings, clicks, and conversions in Search Console and GA4, and report monthly in plain language.

  7. Keep an eye on AI search — ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews — and adapt content so we get cited, not just crawled.

What we’re looking for

  • 1–3 years of hands-on SEO work, agency or in-house, with results you can walk us through.
  • Comfortable in Google Search Console, GA4, and at least one research tool (Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar).
  • You can write. Briefs, meta copy, and blog outlines in clear English that reads like a human wrote it.
  • Working understanding of on-page and technical SEO — you know why a page is not ranking, not just that it is not.
  • Organised reporting habits. If it is not measured, it did not happen.
  • Good English, written and spoken. Tamil is a strong plus for local accounts.

Bonus points

  • Basic HTML/CSS, or enough to read a page source without fear
  • Schema markup and structured data experience
  • Google Ads or Meta Ads exposure
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Webflow, or React-based sites

Studio Operations

Front Office Admin

1 opening
  • Full-time
  • Puducherry (Pondicherry), India
  • 0–2 years (freshers welcome)
  • Reports to Studio Manager

You are the first person a client meets and the reason the studio runs on time. Front desk, calls, scheduling, records, and the hundred small things that keep a working studio calm. Freshers with the right attitude are welcome.

  • A real seat at a working studio, not a waiting-room job
  • Learn how design projects are actually run, quoted, and delivered
  • Fixed hours — Monday to Friday, no late-night surprises

What you’ll do

  1. Greet walk-in clients and visitors, and make the first five minutes feel like a studio that has its act together.

  2. Handle incoming calls, WhatsApp, and the studio inbox — answer what you can, route the rest to the right person.

  3. Schedule client meetings and calls, and keep the studio calendar honest.

  4. Maintain client records, enquiry logs, invoices, and courier or print dispatch entries.

  5. Coordinate with vendors — printers, couriers, suppliers — and follow up until the job is closed.

  6. Keep the front office, meeting room, and stationery stock presentation-ready at all times.

  7. Support the team with basic documentation, quotations, and follow-up reminders.

What we’re looking for

  • Any degree or diploma. Attitude and reliability matter more than the subject.
  • Fluent Tamil and comfortable, confident English on calls and email.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace — Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar.
  • Organised by instinct. You write things down and you follow up without being reminded.
  • Warm, patient, and calm with people, including on a difficult call.
  • Punctual and dependable — the front desk is the one seat that cannot be empty.

Bonus points

  • Prior front-office, reception, or customer-service experience
  • Basic accounting or invoicing exposure (Tally, Zoho Books)
  • Comfortable posting to social media or handling WhatsApp Business
  • A two-wheeler and licence for occasional local runs

03 — How hiring works

Four steps. No ghosting.

You will hear back either way. If it is a no, you get a reason — that costs us five minutes and saves you a fortnight of waiting.

  1. Apply

Send your CV to the studio inbox with the role in the subject line. A short note on why you want this one helps.

  2. Screening call

A 15–20 minute call to understand your background, expectations, and availability.

  3. Practical round

A small, real task — a mini SEO audit, or a front-desk scenario. Nothing unpaid or open-ended.

  4. Studio conversation

You meet the team in person, we talk compensation and start date, and you get a decision within a week.

04 — Questions

Before you hit send.

Are these roles on-site in Pondicherry?
Yes. Both roles are based at our Puducherry studio. The SEO Specialist role opens up hybrid days after probation; the Front Office Admin role is fully on-site by nature.
Do you hire freshers?
For the Front Office Admin role, yes — freshers with strong communication and organisation are welcome. The SEO Specialist role needs at least a year of hands-on search work.
What should I send with my application?
A CV, and a short note on why this role. SEO applicants should add one example of a page or site they improved and what the numbers did. That is more useful to us than a cover letter template.
How long does the hiring process take?
Usually two to three weeks from application to offer, across a screening call, a short practical round, and an in-person conversation at the studio.
What if none of the open roles fit me?
Send an open application anyway. We keep strong profiles on file for designers, content writers, and developers, and we reach out when a seat opens.

05 — Apply

Send your CV. We read every one.

Put the role in the subject line so it lands in the right pile. No open role that fits? Send an open application — strong profiles get kept on file, not deleted.
